Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Additional Content

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Content

This update also adds the game's third free story episode, titled "The Mystery." Loyal to its name, "A Puzzlement" also contains a new environmental puzzle that may eventually explain some unresolved questions from the main storyline.
